INTRODUCTION
The Broken Eagles series serves a twofold purpose: lt is a pictorial study of late war German aircraft as found by the Allies and also a tribute to the American, British, and Canadian veterans without whose sacrifices these volumes would not be possible.
All of the photos on these pages were taken by troops of the aforementioned countries in 1944-46.
In this, the third volume, we review part2 of the Messerschmitt BF109G and K.
Rest assured there will be additional volumes devoted to this very prolific fighter.
In the near future, however, look for pictorials on the FW190A/F and ME262.
Anyone contributing photos will be given full credit and a free copy of the book in which it is published.
